I'm a Fish!
Hi everyone-
I'll be heading out to NLQP at about 430 this afternoon- I have a rented tank that is completely filled and i dont want to return it in such a condition. So anyone wanna get wet ? PM me

Hey everyone- well nelsons was OK. The vis i would estimate @ 10-15 feet in most places- I stayed away from the swimming area and tried to kick up as little sediment as possible as not to blind myself. The water temp on the surface was 72 and "at depth" was 62. I only managed to get down to about 35 feet. And only had one tank of air for the day so I swam around a bit and worked on skills. All in all a pleasant day and it was a good dive-with acceptable VIS. Ive been there somedays where I estimate that it was 5 feet. And that is rounding UP. I plan on diving there much more frequently as it is so close to my house and better then nothing. I wanna do some real diving this weekend so I encourage anyone who is intrested to meet me @ whitestar this saturday. Word to the wise about NL though-bring a dive light if you dont want to be crept up on by boulders and other submerged "goodies" that have a tendency of popping up at 30',right in front of you-because of the particulate you lose most sunlight about 20' `and any deeper there is just a green haze that envelops you. I liked the dive because it wasn't crowded, the water was very comfortable and I was able to talk to a few non-divers and may have recruited a few more to our ranks.

Thank you Chilie for the NL report. I will consider this when I get back from my next up-coming dive trip on July 20. Hmmm.

Somewhere back in 1977ish I caught MSB live at Nelson's Ledges. Good times.
