I am planning to do another Nekton trip. I have done the Bahamas itinerary and loved it . We didn't do a specific one due to some issues so we basically went where we wanted to during the week. I now want to go on another and I would love feedback or info on both the Belize and the USVI. Any info good or bad is appreciatted. Thanks all

I've done the Belize itinerary and LOVED it...would go back in a heartbeat. Someone posted awhile back about the USVI itinerary, so look for that. I don't recall it being very complimentary as they couldn't get to quite a few of the dive sites because of weather/ocean conditions I think.

The only way to see the good stuff off of USVI is a liveaboard.

Belize- you can do well from a land based dive-op, but from a ship you'll be presented with a much greater latitude of different reef structures.

I went to the USVI trip, and you'll likely have better luck in Belize. We got to the good side for one day out of the week. Vieques is also typically out contrary to their brochure focus due to all sites being open ocean exposed. You'll see big stuff in Belize while we saw few to none in USVI. We also anchored off the city every night which isn't what I want in a liveaboard trip. We had a good time in USVI and saw some cool stuff but I would expect Belize to be better. Seems to be a flip of the coin as to the boat condition there though, and mostly tails.
