Hi all!

I would need your eyes and ears to find a Nikon WP-CP4 under water case for a coolpix
7900 camera.

I am trying to find one but am having a hard time.

Maybe local resources have them for sale.

Tried Froogle and Ebay to no avail...

Help!

dbh:
If i were in your shoes, I would spend a few extra $$$ and go with the Ikelite:

It is a much more robust housing and you can actually get customer service. Nikon, Fuji & Olympus have notoriously bad customer service on their housings.

HTH,
Dave

Dave, thank you for your suggestion.

But the two main problems with this housing
is size and boyency.

I have a fantasea housing for my 4600
and it fits in my BC pockets and
has less than 1LB boyency.
I put Cannon SS weights and it is perfect now.

Just by the look of the Ikelite one, I has more than 3lb.
And people complain about certain knobs
not working at depth.

This is why I want a Nikon one.

Unfortunately, Fantasea has less and less buttons as they
go which makes less and less atractive.

Finally, the very first time I used my Fantasea case, I fell on rocks and totally
wacked it on rocks. And I mean HARD! But it has performed flawlessly.

Regards.

I have the ikelite housing for my CoolPix 5600 (which I believe is from the same mold just different holes and mounting plate as the one for the 7900) and it is just barely negatively buoyant. I had this same dilemma and I'm completely stoked I went with the ikelite. I am about to buy some adapters to mount my UK Light Cannon on the single arm. It has yet to fog. Plus with the ikelite you can see the o-ring and it's condition. I got mine from B&H. My LDS matched it but ikelite was out of stock and B&H wasn't.
