I was diving in the Seychelles, on my next to last dive, down at 10m, I pull up my camera (Cannon AS540, nice family/kids camera for underwater) to start shooting and see that it is full of water!!! Well, needless to say, lost the camera, the card says it is LOCKED when I try it in another canon camera, and my case is leaking at the "shutter" release button.
I called Canon and they said that they don't repair their accessories and since this is an accessory, they won't repair it and can't give me the name of any company that does repair it... cheeze, I used to like Canon until this happened. They won't do anything about it since the case is over a year old!! The parts department guy said they only sell the O rings, not any of the other parts, can that be right?
Does anyone know where I can get the case repaired?
