I'm thinking of housing my d-70s in the future once I get the hang of it topside. I am thinking of getting the ike housing for it. Now for my questions. I currently have a d-2000.

1. Is there any way that I may be able to use it with the d70s? If I get a d-2000w, can I use the d-2000 as a slave strobe? Will I be able to use ittl?

2. Should I just ditch the d-2000 and start out with one ike ds125 (or ds50) until I can afford a second strobe?

Thanks for all the help.

I'd go for the one Ike strobe until oyu can afford a second strobe Gio. The good thing about the DS-125 is that you can use those things for years. They are bullet proof and transferable if you ever change cameras.

The D-2000Wn has the 5 pin Nikonos ttl connector. To my knowledge that should work with your 70s but then my knowledge isn't very deep. No pun intended. (grin)

If you decide to upgrade your strobe I could be very interested in the D-2000Wn. PM me if you are interestd in unloading it.
