Need Some Help

I'm not a diver. I need to know if anyone in the Austin, Tx area has an underwater metal detector that they would rent to me for one day. I lost a wedding ring by the docks of Ski Shores cafe on Lake Austin last weekend. I have a buddy who is a certified diver, but I'm thinking a metal detector would give us a better shot at recovering the ring. I know exactly where it dropped into the water. I believe Dive World(620&Lakecreek) has a metal detector for rent(they have had in the past). Good luck!

Thanks for the info NadMat. Just talked to the folks at Dive World. They sold their underwater metal detector about a year ago, but have had so many requests for one they ordered another one. It won't be in for another two or three weeks though. Does anyone on this forum know anyone else or any other resource where I could get one? Would it be better to post this in one of the other forums? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks again!
