Need So-Cal help for Bonaire trip

For all you So-cal people out there...

We want to go to Bonaire at the end of August. The Scuba Show in LB is coming up at the end of June, and I know there will be bargains on travel, but I'm not sure if it's worth it, since that seems like we're cutting it awfully close, booking our vacation < 2 months before we head out.

Anyone remember what sort of Bonaire deals are available at the Scuba Show? Are they worth waiting, or should we just book now?

Or am I just being paranoid, and 2 months is more then enough time to book a trip to Bonaire?

I attend the show every year and there are usually a number of Bonaire specials offered there. However, I can't remember what kind of discounts you might get. Perhaps you could book your airfare in advance, and then choose a special that fits your chosen dates.

I don't know about specials at the show, but I just booked my trip to Bonaire and by waiting a couple days the air fare jumped a few hundred dollars.. You may want to book that as previously suggested first.
