There's no functional difference between the ATX50 and ATX200. The ATX200 has a differently styled first stage with the same features, but it's supposed to breathe marginally better. The standard ATX50 comes with a first stage that has a swivel - you should avoid this and get the DS4 first stage, which has no swivel. Or just get the ATX200.

BTW, I was kidding about the TUSA reg. It's not sealed in any way and is about as cheap as they get.

Ah, I don't know a lot about all the different regs on the market. Give me time.

What is the problem with the swivel? I have no problem spending the money buying the better reg, just want to know why I'm doing it. Is the swivel a reliability issue?

It's just something else that could in principle leak.

ds4/tx50 is what I dive. tx50 second stage has a wider exhaust port over the atx50 (and is heavier, too). Atx200 has one odd sized lp port at 1/2" that has to be dealt with.
