You want simple sufficient and big numbers? I totally agree the Aeris atmos II or the Oceanic Versa Pro is the way to go. Note that the Atmost II is being replaced by the XR2 which is the exact same computer with a little smaller display. But if you can get your hands on an Atmost II go for it you want regret it! I had the Versa Pro and now the XR2 simply because I loved the last one!

I just purchased a D9 and used it for the first time in early nov, and I liked it quite a bit. I was using a console mounted Oceanic VEO180 prior to that. To me the D9 was very good and my main reason for buying it was to free up my left hand to hold my UW camera rig.

You've got a huge range of watch-style dive computers to look at.

The Mosquito is a cheap Suunto, with an all-plastic casing. The Stinger is it's big brother which does all the Mozzie does plus gauge mode, etc. Both are nice, durable units which perform very well. Both do full deco and nitrox.

The Apeks Pulse is a nice watch computer. It does full deco, and can handle two gas mixes for switching underwater. You might not want that facility now, but heh, it's got it for the future.

Then there is the Scubapro Xtender. Stupid bloody name – sounds it should come with a free sex toy or something! – but it isn't a bad-looking product and it performs well too. Full deco and nitrox again.

It is all going to be down to personal preference and which ones you like the look of.

We just recently got into the shop a Mares NEMO and that thing is AWSOME, very small just like a watch, has a free-dive mode, and every bell and wistle you could ever want on a computer, check out mares.com

mikedbarton:
I am selling my aqualand for 100.00. It has four dives on it. Its listed on ebay or I can be contacted directly at mikedbarton@yahoo.com.

That's sounds very good (I own a full steel -metric- version)... but, where are you, and what currency is 100.00??? British Pound, US Dollar, Canadian, Australian, Yen...?

Your profile isn't helping much.

:D
