Planning to go to San Diego in Mid July. Seriously considering towing own boat to try to dive off of. Boat is an 18ft SeaRay 175, Open bow, with Merc 125HP. Added a Nissan 8hp kicker as backup and trolling motor. Added 25 watt VHF radio and 8ft antenna, to get weather bulletins. Reviewed Califorinia's Boating and fishing regs and got Flare gun to be legal. Ordered Navigation charts of San Diego and the Fish/Dive charts for S. CA.

Questions I still have are:
1) If go to Los Cornados Islands (Weather permitting), do I need Mexican Fishing licenses for everyone in boat? Or one per pole in boat?
2) Any words of wisdom from people who have dived there before?
3) Any suggested dive sites no more than 60ft deep?
