I have a pair of "MARES" QUATRO AVANTI FINS WITH THE "ABS" BUCKLING SYSTEM.RECENTLY HAD KNEE SURGERY AND CAN'T REACH BUCKLE TO RELEASE STRAP. MARES DOESN'T HAVE A "ONE HANDED" STRAP RELEASE.
ANYONE KNOW OF A OFF MARKET MAKER THAT WILL HAVE A REPLACEMENT STRAP ADAPTABLE TO THE MARES ABS FIN POST SO I CAN RELEASE STRAP WITH ONE HAND?....THANKS...

OK, obviously I'm biased, but - go with spring straps. Very easy one handed operation, and they're a heck of a lot sturdier as well.

You can make them yourself, it's not hard. There are a lot of threads on here explaining how. If you don't want to make them, I sell them assembled - I just buy the parts in bulk so I can sell them cheaper. Manta also makes spring straps for Mares fins, but they'll cost you an extra $20 or $30.

I'll agree with spring straps. I just switched my volo straps for manta springs, and they're great! Lots of places sell them; I believe LP has the clip style for $46.

Make your own spring straps. Very easy and they work so well they should be standard equipment
