Hi L_D,

No, my LDS kept giving me the runaround about getting one. I got the cover from a dive shop in Florida. They're a large Apex dealer with great pricing. The name came from Lost Yooper, but I can't for the life of me remember who they are!

Shoot a message to L_Y. I think he uses them and would remember who they are.

If I can find it later when I get home, I'll get the name to you.

L_D,

I found the dealer. His name is Gene at Aquatic Adventures in Florida. Can't remember the city, though.

I'll keep looking if you can't find it.

Guys,

What's all the fuss about color, a panicked out of air diver is NOT gonna look for a colored reg, he is looking for anything to breath out of. And guess which one that is.... the one that is in your mouth.

If color is your bag, put the yellow on your primary and the black on your safe second.

You guys are making this way too difficult.

If the one in your mouth is integrated to a FFM, what one does your buddy or the diver who is out of air go for. . . . ? I'm hoping that they go for the colored octopus because I don't what them ripping my mask off :p

I agree with Iguana Don ... an OOAD is likely to rip the bubbling
second from your mouth and you access your backup. If the
OOAD does not panic and calmy requests assistance you donate
whatever reg is your choice for them to use.

Forget the color, dude. Donate from the mouth -- it doesn't get any easier.

BTW, talk to Gene at a Aquatic Adventures in Zephrillas (SP?) Hills about your Apeks needs, but forget the color thing :D .

Aquatic Adventures II 1 800 348 3008 TD

Good luck.
