Can someone tell me where and under which part number I can order o-rings for my scuba pro (mk 25) and my Apeks (dst) dins. I have not having mutch luck locally. The part number I was given for Apeks doesn't seem to cross any whrer that I can find.

Assuming you are thinking about servicing your own regs, I suggest you start by spending about $50.00 and start with Vance Harlow's "SCUBA Regulator Maintenance and Repair" from Airspeed Press:

He has a chapter on o-rings including size, material, and sources. I think you will find that generic o-ring may work in most cases but it is still betterbto start with proper service kits. These are somewhat like hens teeth but are probably easier to come buy than trying to match MFGR O-rings to generics by size, material, and hardness.

Start with the book. Even if you decide not to DIY, it will teach you enough about care, cleaning, testing and adjusting to be well worth it. If the $50.00 puts you off, stop now and find a good LDS. I figure I've spend $200.00 to $300.00 for instructions, tools, and parts just to get started with DIY.
