I’ll be in Coz Nov. 11 – 15 and staying at the Reef Club. They have an onsite dive operation called Sand Dollar Sports. Can anyone give feedback on either the resort or dive shop?

Thanks,
Jim

We stayed at the Reef Club last November, and LOVED it.
Here's the link to my trip report:

However, I have heard, lately, that they might have some problems... Just though you might want to know about it:

I hope this was an isolated incident :(

We did not dive with Sand Dollars (boats too big IMO = too many divers = you don't get to play around with Eagle Rays as much :D ).
I would recommend Deep Blue for advanced diving.
Living Underwater also seems like a great op per the latest board reviews.

Enjoy!!

If I were you I'd check the hotel reviews on the internet. I read some pretty nasty reviews about the reef club.
I was recently in Cozumel and stayed at the Iberostar. It was really nice, good food, dive op not so good(expensive). We dove with Papa Hogs and were very happy with the service and the price was better also. Shop around and read reviews from other divers - that's what I did and was happy with the outcome.
Good luck and have fun!!!
