I stayed at the Palapas Amaranto in April -May, 2003 in the penthouse. It was fabulous. No AC but not necessary. Circular construction with large openings in sides and roof allow for wonderful breezes to flow through. Try Staff Divers for a dive shop. It is located on 10 Avenida between Calle 1 and Juarez. Fast boats and Santos Gonzales is a great divemaster.
