Hi,

anyone travelling solo to Ambergris around dec19onwards?

i cant seem to find any hostelling on Ambergris...... any solo budget minded travellers want to save on rooms??

Have you tried Pedro's Backpacker's Inn? US$12:50 per person per night, rooms hold four, so unless it's busy you might have a room all to yourself. Contact Pedro at peterlawrencepl@gmail.com.

OK Pedro charges 25usd a night so looks like Rubys the next more affordable option.

Anyone... any group going to Ambergris?

Our group is going to Ambergris from January 21-28, staying at Aqua Marina Suites, and then at Caves Branch Jungle Lodge on the mainland from Jan 28-31.
We are going with our local dive group, Scuba 2000. I believe the dives are arranged through the hotel as a package.

problem is im kinda backpacker/diver... so dont have the luxury for hotels unfortunately.... the plight of a college student.. ahhaa.
