I will be there on Saturday morning without a buddy. I don't have a drysuit so I dont know how warm I will be.... Gotta try it some time. :) My name is Pawel (Paul) I will probably be waiting at the front entrence for a buddy.

I'll be there on Sunday to DM a class or two, so my dive card will probably be full, but introduce yourself if you find me- I like to meet real live Scubaboard people. I drive a black Jetta and look like the guy in my avatar! I'll probably bring my camp stove, so stop by for some hot chocolate- BYOMug.

Might be there as well. I am just debating the drive (4+ hours each way!) :11:

If I am there tan Avalanche with OH Licence Plates MS SCUBA, and me and my drysuit look a lot like my profile Pic.

Here is the dive report from sat. The water is damn chilly, 57-52 brrrrr. especially in the damn wetsuit :p. The vis. is great, about 30-40 ft. The fish let you come in real close, especially the big ones that usually hide in the warmer days.

There is a bass with a bait hook hanging out between the rock crusher and the platforms last time. So he'll probably be on the shallow end still. There is a northern pike hanging out at the front entrence road bed. If you come in from the fish habitats from the back stay shallow when coming back and you just might get lucky. Vis past 40ft is probably around 10ft because of the sulfur layer.

Thanks Erich and Scubapolly for helping me out on my 50th logged dive! Sorry Scubapolly for getting us lost on your first dive at Haigh (like I said, you should have come earlier and seen how well we did on the first dive ;-)) But at least you were able to see some of Haighs highlights on the next one.

Plenty of sun, but strong winds created "high seas" on the quarry, at least six inches! For the first time, I think I actually felt a "current" at Haigh! That meant that viz wasn't as good on the later dives as they were on the first (which was as good as I have ever seen it), but all in all, a great diving day! Hope to see everyone again soon.

Ohh yeah- Congrats on #50. I would have guessed you had many more dives than that!

Sitting in the office this afternoon, I was thinkin'..."damn, I should be diving."

With the winds howling downtown, one swift leap and I may have joined you on Tina's platform!

Oh well, perhaps next weekend (looking to test the new camera set-up before hitting warm waters over the winter)...and congrats, Dean!
