I'm trying to dive the famous wall off La Parguera, southwest Puerto Rico. So far I can only find one dive company, West Divers, and they don't have any trips scheduled. Anyone know of another operator still in business? Sounds like Parguera Divers shut down.

I'll be there tomorrow, I'll ask around. What about the Puerto Rico Technical Diving Center in Aguadillo?

I dove with West over Christmas, they were going out every day. Scuba Diving in La Parguera, Puerto Rico Did you contact them directly? The other dive op in La Paguera is Paradise Divers. The were full up when we were there so I didn't dive with them. 787-899-7611 I couldn't find a link for them.

Parguera Divers closed down a few years ago when the owner moved back to the US mainland. In addition to West Divers, there is also Paradise Scuba (Experience Scuba Diving in Puerto Rico). Each shop requires a minimum number to go out. So, at times like Christmas you will be ok. If you go during a slower period, if one shop doesn't go out, try another. I would definitely call in advance and see how their boat schedule looks for the days you want to dive.

I did a dive with these guys a couple of years ago. I was actually with another group but we tagged along. They did a good job and I would use them again. I would suggest you consider staying somewhere in Guanica so you will be near the dive shop. For me, I like diving out of La Parguera itself when I can because, well, to be honest, I like to wake up and just walk to the shop rather than getting in a car. Yes, that's lazy. But heck...if I am on vacation.... ;)

Island Scuba provides a friendly professional service that offers spectacular Wall Diving, They have daily dive trips with non- minimum diver and only 12 minute boat ride.
