I was there about three weeks ago and the top 17 feet was warm and very murky, but bottom to -17 was nice, clear and cold.

SuPrBuGmAn:Does Little River even have much of a cavern zone?
ianr33:Yes. I would imagine it makes a good cavern dive
PerroneFord:Mat,
We're goin to Little River man.... I need to check some things in the cavern zone and I need a cavern buddy.
PerroneFord:Not sure when I am going. But it would make a nice alternative to the site in Wakulla if that doesn't work out.
Narcosis:Hey folks. Again, thanks for all the advice. I went up on Sunday and due to some technical issues, was only was able to do 1 dive. We ended up doing cow spring with a guide. What a magnificant cavern. http://72.187.67.128/scubaforum/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=36
You have absolutely NO BUSINESS doing upstream cow with a cavern cert (or a Basic Cave cert for that matter) with or without a "guide". It is restricted to Full Cave divers only That is a beautiful cave and you're doing nothing but ruining it and taking foolish risks with your life. If you're going to be a complete chump, at least don't post it on a public form and encourage others to do the same stupid crap! Learn to respect the cave and your limitations and you'll end up being a better cave diver......
EDIT: My apologies, I have just been informed that you were shown the upstream gold line but did not follow it, and played in the downstream instead......
Safe diving,
Rich
