I have an opportunity to practically steal a Bare Nex-Gen dry suit with only a couple of dives on it, but it's out of state and I won't have the chance to try it on.
The suit is an XL, which is the size I wear in a wetsuit, but looking at Bare's fitting chart I'm at the outer limit of a couple of the dimensions, chest and waist.
Are the suits cut with some extra room? Does that chart refer to the dimension including undergarments or do they consider that you'll be wearing them anyway and so cut the suit to fit a person within the size specs with something on underneath the suit?
The deal is good enough that it would be incentive to lose a few extra pounds anyway, but I don't want to buy it if there's no chance I'll ever get into it.
I would really appreciate some sizing feedback from experienced dry suit divers.

I was between ML and MLT. The main thing was height. For ML I would have been at the upper end of the height chart (or maybe half inch over), for MLT I was at the lower end. I got the MLT, but I wonder if I should have gone for the ML because there's some extra room there, especially with just a 150g fleece. It's my first drysuit so I'm not sure how much extra there should be. I'd probably go for ML now if I was doing it again to get a tighter fit.

Also be careful with the trek boots if you are getting them. My shoe size is 11 US, and the trek boots that came with the suit are 11 US, but even with the neoprene socks (soft boots) that are part of the suit the boots have a little too much room. In hindsight I would have prefered tighter fitting trek boots (size 10 US).

dry suits consider that you will be wearing undies. We ordered this exact drysuit for a customer, unfortunately it was too tight around the chest/sholders. Trilam suits do not stretch like a wetsuit does and you do not want to be restricted in you movements. Can you try on a suit at a lds so you'll know if the out of state suit will fit? For your sake I hope it fits, they look like pretty nice suits.

Unfortunately I don't have the option of trying one on locally. Living in Arizona, nobody within a hundred miles stocks drysuits or even heavier weight wetsuits.
