How big a tank and what do you consider a good deal? The local LDS has 13s and 30s on sale for a good price. I have a 30 that I would part with because I need another 40.

Well, I really don't know. I guess $50 to $60 but maybe I am way off... I only quote that price because that is what I have seen them sell for on Ebay.

Two little ponies for me:) I want one for a backup and the other for argon. I know there is a lot of debate over argon but I will just try it out for myself.

...one little pony for argon... a 6cf is just dandy and disappears on your rig if mounted right. I bought a couple of them from divers-supply with valves for $80 each... new.

As for back up... have you considered keeping your backup gas in your main tank(s)?
