My dive buddy flaked on me. So, I will give everyone who is interested until 2pm Saturday to respond. This is because if I do not get a dive buddy, I will cancel the gear rental at the LDS.
Anyway, we were going to Haymarket, VA.
But, anyone diving within a 50 mile radius of Washington DC, who is interested, please give me a heads up. I need to limit it to 50 miles so that if I tire after the dive, I can make the drive home safely.
You need to be aware that I have not settled the weight issue, and this will be only my 5th OW dive, having just gotten my OW cert two weeks ago.
I do not plan on having a dive consist of me redoing the cert tests, but rather actually diving and experiencing diving for diving's sake.
You can expect me to have issues with weight, and I am not good at navigating so you need to be close, and not push the limits of my knowledge.
Expect a dive from 30' - 60', with slow movement, albeit turbulent.
I will have a 7mm suit, hood and gloves, boots and a rented BCDwith integrated weights.
I am open to a long dive, the limits being rec no decompression dives as long as permitted, using the chart, as opposed to a computer, since I do not have a computer.
