I find myself in the most fortunant position of having this coming Friday as a day off. Albiet, the day is meant to drive from Hattiesburg MS to Auburn AL for the weekend. I need to be in Auburn around 4ish that afternoon. I have signed up for a boat trip with Scuba Shack and that might work (don't know) if more people sign up. I'll be willing to drive as far as Vortex before heading north, but would prefer the Gulf Shores or even P' cola area. Tides are OK for jetty dive at 9 am. Any takers?

10:30AM for the Alabama Point Jetties. I'll be working, sorry. Looking forward to a report if you get out there though.

I am free and will be in the panhandle area probably around Vortex Thursday and Friday. Whats up? I will be diving, definately!!!

Meeting some folks down in Marrianna Saturday Morning...

I'd like to dive the high tide on the gulf then motor over to Vortex after lunch. SuprBugMan has whetted my appetite for flounder!

You could buy a polespear and cut the band off to use as a gig(its legal that way)... There's no way you could convince a Marine Popo that you weren't using the sling if it were still there. I usually gig the flounder with my pole regardless.
