I'm a Fish!
I just completed a resto on a 1959 steel 72 1/2" thread tank. The dive shop ruined the original USD valve trying to change out the bust disc so now I need a new 1/2" valve preferably with a "J".
Does anybody have one they can sell me?

Thanks

Eric

I think I have a tank with the half inch thread still in it bit I'm sure it is a K valve as we threw all the reserve valves away. The tank is on the front porch at our mountain house, we'll likely go up there next weekend. I was going to make a bell out of the tank as it's near as old as me.

How old is the tank? I'll bet if it's a steel 72 it would pass hydro provided it's not rust pitted real bad.
Do you want to part with valve?
How much?
Even though it's not a "J" I'd use it until I found one.

ZKY, I have a 1/2 inch valve. It's a K-valve, but it is a 1/2 inch tapered threads. It goes to a set of doubles that I condemned years ago. If you want it, please PM me.
