So what would her original pressure have been... around 3000 psi?

*IF* that was the case, doing a second dive wasn't the problem per se

During my AOW dives, a young lady had 2200 PSI left after a dive, when the guys were down to 1200-1400. The instructor indicated that this was not unusual.

Nonetheless, it's baffling why anyone would dive 80+ feet on 1800 PSI of air. Dive plans are just that. With recommended safety stop and all, defensive diving dictates never to dive in deeper waters w/o a full tank. Hope the lady is well and this ends up being a just scare.
