This good weather has given me Spring Fever. Right now I'm shooting for mid April to have the boat back in the water. When do you usually start your boat dive season? I keep my boat moored so when she's in she's in to stay for the season.

so as soon as I feel crazy enough, I'll be in

Of course this appears to be just a weather anomaly so you would need to drain all the fluids again before the "real" boat season resumes. I hope the weather is decent enough in April for me to put it...

I will hopefully be going in this weekend. I am usually in the first weekend in March and out two days before Xmas. Regardless of temp, the outboard can weather it and is usually safer on the water than in the driveway under a tree. If all goes well with rebuilding hydraulic steering piston and doing water pump, I will be in Sunday. If not, the following Saturday.

Good luck!

I have a 24 foot cabin cruiser with mercruiser outdrive.
I plan on taking off the winter tarp about mid April and since I trailer it I'll launch it when I have time if the weather is good any time after that. I usually don't go out for a day trips, ( too much work trailering,) so I usually go out for several days or a week at a time. Have to wait till weather is warm enough so I don't have to have to winterize the boat a second time. Temp usually doesn't go below freezing after April 15th.
