NCWD get together-Lake Rawlings, VA 11-06-04

This is the next get together we're planning. I know it's Lake Rawlings but the vis is way better from what I've heard than Fantasy Lake. So if anyone is interested in meeting up and driving to Rawlings on Saturday, November 6, post on this thread. We'll get a head count then decide where to meet beforehand so maybe we can all drive up together. We just know that Dale is not leading the pack. I don't know if my little mini-van goes over 95mph.

Also, I asked Ken to post in VA forum so some divers up there can join us.

LOL That was a funny story wasn't it.
My band is playing in Rocky Mount, Saturday night Oct 6, so I won't be able to dive to late in the day as I'll need to be there by around 7-8. I'll stop in and do 2 dives at least.

About 1 hr 45 mins from the south side of Raleigh.

I can't make this one, on call again and Rawlings is a little too far to push the pager.

Found this link through Jason B's post in the Mid-Atlantic Bottom Feeders section. I would be interested in joining your group at Lake Rawlings on Saturday 11/6/04. I have been wanting to go there but I have no traveling buddies. I am new diver (Open Water-08/04, Advanced 10/04) and dive regularly at Millbrook up here in Northern VA. I haven't made it to N. Carolina but hope to next year to check out some of the wrecks, especially the one with the numerous sharks. Just let me know the time and location at the lake and I will be there.
