all girls university in the state. It seems they are still keeping up the tradition! UF, started out as an all guys school... the roads between UF and FSU were quite well traveled at one time.

NetDoc once bubbled...
Than a GATOR!!! :tease:
Go University of Florida!!!

My other favorite school is whoever plays FSU (Where the women are women and the men are too!)

NetDoc

Too bad your boys at UF don't know the difference between a crock and a gator. You'd think you guys might teach 'em that! I would bet the girls at FSU know the diff!

With five national championship since '83, green and orange all the way to the national title game(again). GO CANES!!!!

That's why the Tallahassee Lassies like to date them thar Gators... they got enough crocks (or was that crooks) in Tallahassee! :tease:

BTW, How do you get an FSU graduate to leave? Pay for the pizza! :tease:

It has been reported that the FSU recruiters tell their prospects that FSU really stands for "Free Shoes University". :tease:

In light of recent arrests, it has been suggested that FSU change the name of it's team to the "Criminoles". :tease:

Just a note... I do mean all this in fun... really I do.

USC all the way!

I'm a Trojan through and through. Didn't miss a single home game in the 4 years I was there for undergrad. If I hadn't moved to the Bay I'd still be going to the games.

The Heisman was ours last year, I'd like to see a national championship follow that up.

:D

Yea I know.....those are pretty funny NetDoc.......but you never addressed my point.

Yes, Miami does have plenty of money to support two pro teams. What do you think started the money laundering problem? They also have a rather large legal fund to keep those boys on the field and out of the pen.

do more harm to their respective schools than most might imagine. If you are asking for real, then that is my answer. They skirt around the rules more often than not without a coach's knowledge or permission. They really have nothing to lose... you can't fire an alumnus. They are the gas for that engine... without them I don't think there is a college that would have corruption, or even much of a football program for that fact.

My father in law was Bobby Bowden's coach in college. They were quite close until my FIL's death. I have nothing but real respect for that man. Any problems in that system are not his fault... it's the fault of a few "well intentioned" but morally corrupt individuals who think that the rules are something to be "bent".
