baitedstorm:Ron,
Welcome to the Board! I had an experience with a negligent dive buddy who almost cost me my life too. My advice, make sure you know and TRUST the people you dive with. I almost always consider myself a solo diver (unless diving with my husband, my Instructor, or one of the Florida Conch Divers) and plan my dives that way. Like my husband said before (murphdivers286) if your ever in Florida, let us know , we'll dive with you and never leave you hanging
BIGBLUE:Greetings from NC. This is my first post but have been member of the web site for about a month. I have enjoy the informative posts on this site and finally decided to make a post. I have not been diving for a while, (since my so called buddy left me tangled in a wreck in Fl. a fews years ago) I have got my nerve to try it again. I am NAUI and would like to get a refresher course. Does anyone know of anyone teaching courses in the Elizabeth City area or the Outer Banks. I am eager to get back in the water and try the beach wrecks. I need a buddy. Anyone interested? Thanks to everyone who contributes to this great site. I am looking forward to meeting some of you in the future.
Ron
