Hi,

I have the Sony A7r4 and after speaking with Nauticam, it seems like I should go for the Sony 28-60mm with WWL-1/B, along with the Nauticam housing. Before I go and spend $9k on all this stuff. How much should I expect to lose in value when I resell later? Assuming the underwater equipment is in excellent condition.

Housings tend to depreciate pretty fast; expect to get back maybe 50%. If you're very lucky, it might be 70% of new. On the other hand, camera market seems to be slowing down now, with less and less differences in the newer models, so housing value depreciation may slow down as well.
Nauticam's lenses, however, seem hold up pretty well in value, 80%+ of new is easy if it's scratch-free. Every time I see one come up for sale, it gets snatched up within days if not hours.

Nauticam ports and domes will hold their value pretty well, as they are generally portable across different housing. The actual housing will hold its value only as much as the camera body. When your camera body becomes dated enough that no one wants to buy it, you'll find the same with the housing.
