The jump from First Aid and CPR certification to instructor level isn't huge... It's not like going from a basic C-card to Dive Instructor.
When I was teaching actively, I added these (as well as DAN O2 Instructor) to my "quiver" partly because it added to my general knowledge but also because it added to my "saleable" skills. If you intend to work in the industry, the more knowledge you have the better. I also took certification courses in HP air systems for example... That particular certification probably helped me land a job in the Caribbean more than any other! Dive Instructors are a dime-a-dozen these days, so any additional skills you can offer are going to separate you from the pack.
