Thanks guy for the great book advice from the other week.

Now, I'd like some advice on loading up my MP3 player with some great Javanese or Balinese music to chill out to on the balcony or deck after a dive.

Any recommendations for some decent, native music? Send along performers names or song names, and hopefully I can find them on a decent BitTorrent site.

I'm not looking for modern Indo pop, but the traditional stuff that will get me in the mood to sport my sarong.

Balinese Gamelan music is not what i would call Chill Out... :D

But there are some good Indonesian bands and singers out there, but i don't know any of the names..

Got the Gamelan Angklung and Gamelan Kebjar CD, plus two others! They are awesome, just what I was looking for, mellow, no vocals, and exotic. Thanks... I've been listening to them all day at work.

Now, the Javanese Gamelan, with those opera-like vocals. That was pretty harsh. Like they were killing a cat.
