Thanks for the detailed answer. You didn't mention holding her regulator in for her during the rescue, so I'm a bit stuck on how, if there was an acute medical issue that rendered her unconscious, she managed to retain her regulator and keep breathing from it. You mentioned emotional distress in your original post, so I still wonder if there may be a psychiatric component to this. At any rate, with a nod to fire_diver who said this about five minutes after your original post, she needs a full workup and she should not dive until she's cleared by a physician. She's extraordinarily lucky that you intervened as rapidly and effectively as you did. This could have had a very different outcome.
This is an unusual case; it would be great if you could keep us updated.
