1 week and 5 days and my GF and I will be on our way with HAL on the Rotterdam to the Bahamas. This will make my second one, both with HAL. The first was Alaska...truly God country.

We just came back from HAL cruise to Tortola, St Thomas and their private isle Half Moon Cay.
@ 56 yro. I felt I was one of the youngest on board. (but the afternoon wheelchair races were a hoot (lol)).

I did dive program through the ship. Except in Tortola, I was the lone diver.

Been on several cruises. Don't remember the names of the ships, only the ports where I could dive.
Wife just booked for next Feb (President's week) to Grand Cayman, Roatan, Beleze, and Cozumel. Done this route twice before, and was great for diving. Looking foward to doing it again.

I love HAL. They are really my favorite.

And I agree, I was by far the youngest. But, hey, all the grannies were so nice to me!
Made me feel young again..

I guess we've been lucky. We've always cruised during Spring Break and have met lots of other younger families. The kids have made friends that they still email a couple of years later.
