Just an interesting thing that happened this weekend, drift diving off Boyton Beach:
On the second/final dive of the day, our group of 5 divers saw an 8’ +/- gray shark at about 60’. It was exciting as that’s what we were all hoping for.
Once back aboard the boat, there were at least 6 differing opinions—not including mine, because I didn’t know what kind of shark it was! That’s right, 4 of the divers in our group said it was a lemon, bull, nurse, silky. Two others on the boat, who weren’t with us, stated it was a lemon or black-tipped reef shark.
I‘m awaiting positive identification after the photo/video is looked at.
Just thought this was funny/interesting.
