Will the Zeagle docking station for the N2ition work with the Nitek Trio. I know these are essentially the same computers - but not sure what "essentially" means in the context of compatibility.

Nitek has discontinued selling the docking station due to lack of 64-bit drivers.

I can still find Zeagle docking stations online for sale.

With the exception of the 64-bit thing, yes...

They are the exact same docking station, and have the same limitations when it comes to working with newer Windows operating systems.

As far as I know, both Zeagle and Dive Rite have stopped carrying the docking stations, until (if/when?) Seiko steps up and makes them work with the latest software, but neither company is holding their breath. Well, i know Zeagle isn't and I assume that DR isn't either! :)

Thanks,

Scott

Zen, The software does have some limitations as Scott stated. There is a thread with a few "work arounds" to get limited use of the software on SB. Using the work around, I have been able to get all pertinent data from my N2ition, just not a pretty computer log book. If you can get a smokin deal on the cable it is worth it. It is not worth full retail.
