Several years ago, I went into Ocean's Window with a brand new tank (30 days old) and they wouldn't fill it unless I left it there for 15 days so they could do a hydro on it. I never went back.

I moved to the HOU area from Garland about 3 years ago. Have you been to Sand & Sea near Richland? Small shop, but great people (at least they used to be).
 
Yes, Sand and sea died about a year or so ago.

Sorry about your bad experience with Oceans Window. The Plano store has treated me well, but I have heard others who have had poor experiences. They did keep looking at a new tank I had funny because it wasn't VIP+.

Harold is still around but his wife died sometime last year. The announcement is on the board. You could do a search under Sand and sea and probably find it.
