look, you didn't slip ok... there was a (fairly small at 1.5 meters) reef shark bugging your dive buddy and it was about to nip him in the shin when you came up and yanked the shark's tail and it doubled over and you took a swing at it but kinda missed and sliced your hand open on its open mouth (w/ razor sharp teeth!)Zeeman:Shugar - thanks dude - yeah, it actually didn't hurt too much (except when changing dressings...) though it's a pretty lame story! I slipped and sliced my hand on an oyster.. argh... Oh well, at least it was an "I slipped and sliced my hand on my own dive knife" story...
