I'm just glad I'm not the type of person to panic.As for Oysters... I'll be ordering a dozen of them tonight just to get back at the suckers!
@Jonix - WOw, that's a dumb bird, they usually do fly away, maybe it was old and lame or something...
@boljakool - unfortunatley, I had to work today as the jobs I'm working on are on a timeline, if I don't do my bit before tomorrow, then I can't do my bit at all as the walls will be concreted and the ceilings sheeted, and if I don't do my bit, I get no $$$ and the client gets very upset
But all good, I got my minion to do most of the work today ) Thanks though dude, glad to be ok @ Missdirected - yeah, still not quite sure how I managed, but life goes on. And yes, I just discovered that 24 hour bit. I went to the doc this afternoon and it's too late to stitch. It was already too late yesterday afternoon it seems. Oh well, will just have to take care of it and nurse my left hand for a while
I have plenty of scars, another wont make a difference Z...

Shugar - thanks dude - yeah, it actually didn't hurt too much (except when changing dressings...) though it's a pretty lame story! I slipped and sliced my hand on an oyster.. argh... Oh well, at least it was an "I slipped and sliced my hand on my own dive knife" story...

glad you are ok it could have been a lot worse. consider yourself extremely lucky. motorcycles dont usually end as lucky as you. besides you are getting a new mv anyway!

look, you didn't slip ok... there was a (fairly small at 1.5 meters) reef shark bugging your dive buddy and it was about to nip him in the shin when you came up and yanked the shark's tail and it doubled over and you took a swing at it but kinda missed and sliced your hand open on its open mouth (w/ razor sharp teeth!)Zeeman:Shugar - thanks dude - yeah, it actually didn't hurt too much (except when changing dressings...) though it's a pretty lame story!
