Good news out of Ecuador and Galapagos is that from July 1, as long as you are vaccinated, they no longer require a Covid test to enter either destination. Not only has it been an incredible year dive wise, with superb conditions and best deals in years - but with not requiring a PCR or Antigen test for vaccinated travelers, it just got better. I'll add one more ... remember that as of this post date, those traveling to or through the USA are required to have a negative antigen test within 72 hours of their flight. When returning via Quito one can obtain such a test with a printed copy at the Quito Airport Center which is at the Quito Airport. Very easy.
