My Philippines trip photos are up

I finally got my Sabang and Panglao Island, Philippines photos sorted through and uploaded to my web site

I shot approx 3500 photos on 40 dives, kept 450, and uploaded about 90..

That orangutan crab on the bubble coral is pretty cool! I've never seen one Do they live in the bubble corals there?? So unfair!

Great job Jim. Looked at all of them, what a fantastic range of subjects and brilliant photography. Of all of them I think my favorite was that little hawkfish in the big sponge near the end. Thanks, ++Ken++

That was the only Orangutan Crab I saw on all my dives.

Was he living there or did your dm put him there? I'm hoping he lives there coz I'll up my diligence in looking for these guys on our bubble corals...added to my so far futile quest for the pygmy sea horse which a friend is convinced lives here somewhere :shakehead, we just haven't found it LOL

Alcina, all the Orangutan Crabs I've seen in Sabang have been living on bubble corals. Come to think of it I can't remember seeing them on anything except bubble corals.

The DM found it but didn't put it there. He also found pygmy seahorses but they were so small I could barely see them let alone photograph them

Where did you guys see the Pygmy Seahorses Jim? We couldn't find any after the last Typhoon...:shakehead
