I am a 31 year old female, and i had my gall bladder taken out a year ago. There was absolutelly no rhyme or reason to it. I am in very good health, dont smoke, athletic, excellent blood pressure, low cholesterol, and i dont drink. Made the doctor's scratch their heads. Actaully, I ended up getting pancreatitis from the surgery and almost didnt make it. now all better and its like nothing happened. I dont think they understand the gall bladder as much as they like to think. GOod luck to you and your grandson! :)
