Nice. I do have a question - some of the pics look like the strobe didn't fire - what settings were you using on the 5050? Was the camera's flash on AUTO or slow1?

This will be a stupid question, I know, but I'm very new to photography and still pretty dumb when it comes to the mechanics of taking pictures underwater. Anyway, how do you know what the settings are on a particular picture? If you are shooting a roll of film and changing the f stop regularly, how do you know what you might have shot an individual picture at? Is it just a matter of being more aware of what you're doing?

If you are shooting film, you need to have a slate to record the info for each frame.

With digital, the information is embedded in the file when you take the shot. It's called EXIF and you can view this in your software program. In Windows you can also right click on an image, choose Properties, choose Advanced and it will list the details for you.
