Be warned. The lustre of single tank diving fades quickly once you get into doubles. The better trim, the protection from failure, the reduction of weight worn on the belt or elsewhere, etc. I know a lot of people use pony's and like them, but you couldn't convince me to go single tank w. pony now that I am diving doubles.

if i can dive a single tank i will, doubles are too heavy and cumbersome
I can do most dives on a single 120
if I dive doubles I have to use either double steel 80's (whats the point in that) or double 120's, which are overkill for 80% of all diving
If the record still stands, the deepest depth acheived on air was to 475 feet with a single steel 100
