Pros for a double hose:
Air exhausts behind you instead of around your face
Breathes better than most any single hose when the reg is below your lungs
No dry mouth
Environmentally sealed
Way, way, way cooler!

I know some single hose manufacturers have worked around the downsides of single hose regulators, by using environmental seals and moisturizing contraptions, but thay can never work around the first and last points:wink:

Terry,
Add to this list,:
Diving is much quieter. No bubble noise in your ears,
No stress on your teeth or jaws from a 2nd stage
No semi stiff rubber hose 18-20 inches out to your right pulling on your 2nd stage
(instead, you have two floating hoses taking the weight of the small rubber mouthpiece)
For photography purposes, there is no spider effect behind you of thin rubber hoses coming off your tank in many directions......(to me looks like a spider, very un-kept and very un-cool)

I knew there were more pros, but it's been so long since I have dived a single hose regulator that I have been taking many of them for granted! Thanks.
