My First DIY Oxygen Analyzer

There's an awful lot of bright guys here, so somebody might be able to answer this. Is there any particular reason this circuit wouldn't work with a CO sensor instead of an O2 sensor? I know adjustments would be necessary, but would the principle be roughly the same?
