my first computer

so im buying my first computer and i just do not know which to get..The pro plus 2 or the vt3..Can anyone help please..I like them both

Tough choice !!!
One thing about the Pro Plus 2, it'll never get lost due to a weak wrist band or a defective retractor.
One thing about the VT3, it sure is nice not having that extra hose.

Disregard our resident smartazz. I prefer a wrist mount so I'd go with the VT. We do sell alot of pro plus 2's however. Both are good computers but as was said you won't be losing it due to the above. It all depends on what you are comfy with. If you don't mind a big console then go for the pro plus. If you want to lose a hose then go wireless. You won't go wrong with either if it suits your diving style.

Disregard the PADI salesmen that populate the board, and don't waste your money on a computer.

What functionality are you looking for from a dive comp? What made you like those two models? VT3 is an overkill for a rec diver. Pro plus 2 might be insufficient for a tek diver.

This doesn't make VT3 better, but it does mean you should choose what's best for your diving. Or dive tables as Foggy suggests.
