[ok, here's the idea ... we're going to write a story together. each person adds one sentence to the story. you should try to stick with what was said already, but can take the story in a whole new direction if you feel like it. i'll start with the first sentence, and you (yes, you) add the next one! let's see how this goes!]

It was a beautiful, bright sunny morning on the day of that fateful dive.
