WileE, I am still laughing over that one.

Jep, I thought skill (she raises her eyebrows) was definately in your top three. HAHAHAHA

(she walks off laughing and slapping her leg)

RAVENC,

If she is SELF reliant, then I'm sure she has skill.

Know what I mean? One has to know how to take care of ones self, before one can take care of another. :)

Hehehehe

LOL

Oh but no. Hahahaha

Self- "reliant" and skill are very different. LOL OMG I can't stop laughing. I am sure there are some out that who may be able to take care of themselves and not take care of me too. I mean their buddy too. That's why skill is so important. LOL

New to the board here....very intrigued by the electricity between members. As a new diver, i feel the confidence that I have from being self-reliant makes me an excellent dive buddy. Not knowing any of "y'all's" skill level...knowing your conmfortable with yourself in the water makes me more relaxed as well. It seems logical that they are very much related. I am sure what makes a "good" dive buddy evolves over time.....and something I hope to do...grow in skill...and share those experiences with my buddy.
