Just wondering whether they'll be wrecked by the TSA on the first or second flight... :banghead:

Supposedly they have a lifetime guarentee, so if TSA or other breaks them, free replacement (of the lock, not the stuff they stole).

i use cable ties - you can buy colour ones with serial numbers on them but i go for the simple mass produced black ones

thankfully our bags look battered and crap so most people think theres nothing but moomoos in there :D

I have yet to see mine used. They have broken the slider tab or just plaine ruptured the zipper for inspection but they don't go lookin for no stinkin special key.

I bet the conecpt does sell a lot of locks though

If we're having a pool, sign me up for one broken lock on each of the first two trips.

In the pool, I'm good for both locks broken on first trip and anything of value missing. I see these as nothing more than an advertisement that there is something of value in the bag that the owner wishes to protect and does not want to loose.

Valuables(regs, etc) go in my now very heavy carryon which I put in the overhead across the isle. Smelly wetsuit, booties, etc go in checked bag, on top, eliminating the need for any additional security.

By the way, you don't want to be sitting across the isle from me:14:

They always keep mine (when I get a good one). It's a waste of money. :shakehead:

Last time I locked a case, I used the cheapest TSA approved lock possible. That one didn't get kept. Go figure.

I went to Cayman last year & Roatan this year with 3 bags locked w/TSA locks, all arriving intact and uninspected/pilfered. Reg, computer, prescrip mask and camera all in carryon however....

I have used them on multiple fights to the Caribbean without any problems. This includes US Air, Contnental, Bonaire Excel & Divi-Divi Air.

I will find out next summer how it goes with United when I go to the Big Island.
