Must do dives in SD?

These are the two must dive places in San Diego:

1) La Jolla Ecological reserve (shore entries) - the best spot in here is La Jolla Cove, lots of kelp. La Jolla Shores is also good if you drop down the canyon wall.

2) Wreck Alley (boat dives) - The yukon is gynormous and a great wreck dive (100 ft, must be advanced cert).

There are others, but if you're looking to get a taste of the best stuff in SD without taking a boat really far (various islands), these are the two hot spots for diving around here.
 
La Jolla is great for shore dives. Coronados is cool but a lot has to do with conditions. Boat ride can get rough and visibility pretty bad if the conditions are not right. The Yukon wreck is probably the main attraction. I love kelp, but prefer catalina.
